Add-On Options:

4C Mode True Map Switching – True map switching using 4C buttons. Switches boost and timing. Comfort and Sport modes have one configuration and Advanced mode has another. Note that on automatic models, “Transmission Sport Mode” will switch the maps to the advanced map set regardless of the 4C buttons.

Anti-Lag & No Lift Shift – We are proud to be the first company that has developed true launch control for the Volvo platform. Build instant boost prior to launching the vehicle and keep it boosting with No Lift Shift. Anti-Lag is activated when the vehicle is stopped, the clutch is depressed and the accelerator pedal is held to the floor. NLS is active when RPMs are above a threshold value and the accelerator pedal is held to the floor in between shifts. Note: This option is only available for vehicles without catalytic converters. This modification places extra stress on the drivetrain, turbocharger system, and engine components. Currently only available for manual transmissions. Choosing this option for all Non-R vehicles will cause a slight delay with delivery of the tune.

Automatic Transmission Torque Limiter Removal – Remove the first and second gear torque limiter from automatic transmissions.

Eco Enhance – We have developed a way to run the engine with a slightly leaner idle and partial throttle operation. This has shown as much as 3-5 MPG improvements in our testing. This option requires custom code modification and is not offered by any other tuning companies at this time. Note: Currently this option is only available for vehicles without catalytic converters. Choosing this option for all Non-R vehicles will cause a slight delay with delivery of the tune.
Note: Currently only available for 2002 and newer vehicles.

Valet Mode File – Add this to any stage tune and we will include a separate file that you can flash which restricts performance of the vehicle for valet and other uses.

Big Turbo (Stage 3 Tunes Only)
Needed for supporting a larger than hybrid turbo on this car. Please contact us for more info.

    Absolutely Wonderful!
I had been looking to tune my car for a while, but really, I didn’t know who to trust.
After reading about Rob’s history and his white paper on tuning, I chose Hilton tuning for this reason.
You see, my car isn’t the norm; it’s a 1999 Volvo S70 AWD, with the LPT engine swapped for the HPT T5.
So, despite expecting to get the car tuned originally, I hesitated for a long time. I was more worried about the longevity and reliability of the engine, rather than the power (with all the posts of bent rods as such).
As a result, for many years, I drove the T5 engine in my S70 AWD at 200hp, the stock tune for the LPT engine. Haha! I laugh because it only boosted at 3.8-4.2 PSI to get the same power demand.
But, this year, after reading about Rob, I just felt he was the right guy for the job: to truly create a custom tune for my specific needs.
He recommended a stage 3 tune. And let me tell you, I was definitely not disappointed with the end result. It took a few files to get there, but get there we did.
Rob turned my 1999 Volvo S70 AWD T5, into a sporty S70 “T5-R” AWD with about 300hp+ … a car setup that I have yet to read about.
What a joy to drive an S70 “T5-R” AWD Sedan; a very special sedan.

So, after more than 6 months of driving and testing, I can confidently say, the Hilton Stage 3 tune has completely changed the dynamics of my 1999 Volvo S70 “T5-R” AWD car.

And to note: it was easy to flash the tune to my car using the J2534 capability of a VIDA Dice! Rob has created an absolute gem of a tuning software that uses the J2534 hardware on a VIDA DICE. Brilliant! Works flawlessly and easy to flash your ECU from the OBDII port. No need to remove ECU and solder anything.

Rob has been an absolute joy to work with. Took a few files, but Rob gets the job done. And this, with a custom car setup.
Strongly recommend for anybody wanting to unleash Volvo’s potential.

    Thanks so much Rob!
